Nabisco Cereal Premium Toy Dogs or "Rubenstein" Dogs
Nabisco used these dogs as cereal premiums to help sell Wheat Honeys (gold dogs) and Rice Honeys (silver dogs). Toy figure collectors know these dogs as "Rubenstein" dogs because, when the Nabisco promotion ended, Rubenstein marketed the dog figures in "Header Card Bags" in toy and drug stores across the USA! The "Header Card Bags" had these dogs molded in brown, white, yellow and blue soft plastic.
