WorldWideRetro.com, THE original Kustom Kulture Online Community, is now over 13 years old! Unlike the "Wal-Mart" type super communities out there, we aim to serve a narrow niche. Everything you find here is in some way Kustom Kulture related. Be it Hot Rods, Music, Pin-ups, Burlesque, Vintage Collectibles, Tattoos, Motorcycles, Mid-Century Modern Design, Counter-Culture Art or Non-Conformist speech, this is an open community. We do not care about celebrity gossip, Hip-Hop home tracks or how you pimped out your Honda Accord. There are plenty of places that cater to that type of thing if that is what you are in to.
So, pull up a seat, swipe a "Free Retro Graphic", post a tail or a peve on The R.A.N.T. Boards, listen to some real music on WWR Radio, add your favorites to our Kustom Kulture Link Directory, meet some new folks or get reaquanted with some old friends. This is your town. Welcome.

Help WorldWideRetro rebuild the Kustom Kulture Link Directory. The huge link directory we once had was lost to a hacker's attack a few years ago. The process of rebuilding has been slow. Please contribute to this project by submitting your favorite Kustom Kulture links. Just hit the "Submit A Web Link" link in your User Menu. Or better yet, add Submit A Web Link to your favorites or browser tool bar and send over any appropriate sites you come across.

Rolling up on Knucklehead's Saloon Saturday night was a bit of a surprise. Every parking spot in front and both satellite parking lots were packed! Wow!, I thought, I guess there are more folks than me that were excited to see the reunion of one of Kansas City's best bands. My lovely wife and I strolled in to what was indeed a packed house. Finding a place to park my injured ass was gonna be a problem but these are the kind of problems I can deal with. Every time I turned around I was bumping in to familiar old faces, all kinda giddy with the excitement of seeing the return of the four man ensemble known as The Silvermen.

For those of you that have been with WorldWideretro.com since 1996 you see some pretty obvious changes here! The site's design and structure had been based on the same Content Management System (CMS) for the last five years. Although we kept it updated with latest security and code releases we simply began to outgrow its capabilities. We are now operating on the latest PHP and MySQL releases. All code is updated and compliant and the site should run much smoother and faster than you remember. However, the restructuring has changed many things that you may have become used to over the years. Active WWR members may want to do some exploring and will definitely need to change a few things.
